Nursery & Preschool Guidelines

The primary purpose of the Preschool Department is to minister and care for the preschool age children of those attending: Sunday School, Worship Services, Wednesday night programs, and Discipleship classes and is open to children ages 2 months to Kindergarten.  This department opens 15 minutes before and closes 15 minutes after scheduled services.  Please pick your child up promptly.

We want our church to be a safe and fun environment for our children, so please be sure to check your children in at the Welcome Center in the preschool department to receive a security badge for you and your child.  All preschoolers must be checked in by a parent or the adult with whom they are attending before being taken to a room. Children will be released only to a parent or an adult presenting the child's matching security tag.  Or, the adult may present a picture ID that matches the information in the child's personal information file. Children will not be released to anyone under the age of 18.

Please do not bring a child who has had the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:

  • Fever
  • Rash
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Any contagious disease

Please leave your child's personal toys at home.

Childcare is provided during Sunday morning services, Sunday school, Sunday evenings, choir practice, and Wednesday night programs. If childcare is needed for a special activity, please contact Sarah White by calling the church office at least 2 weeks in advance.

Parents are always welcome to help out; just let Sarah White, our Preschool Director, know if you feel God is calling you to help in the department or for any concerns or questions.
